1995年札幌医科大学卒業。2002年に札幌医科大医学部大学院学位取得。勤務先の病院で男性更年期障害や性機能などに悩む患者さんの治療にあたる。現在は千葉西総合病院で泌尿器科部長を勤め、メンズヘルス外来を担当。また前立腺がんや腎がんに対するロボット支援手術、特に勃起能の温存を目指したロボット支援神経温存根治的前立腺摘除術に積極的に取り組んでいる。
